The national fair tax initiative has been getting much publicity recently, with 2 bills in congress and a New York Times best selling book promoting it. Until recently, this has been largely mentioned only in the South, where the movement originated. But, with the book, the bills, and our President’s tasking of the IRS to look at alternatives, the fair tax has gained some popularity and admirers.
