Zoom Workshop Video with Peter W. Johnson: Life, Love & Legacy: What thriving families do differently
Dads are most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers, storytellers, and singers of song.”

We’re all ancestors in training.“
Keith Britany
The importance of connection cannot be overstated, especially in these tumultuous times. We humans are wired for relationship, quite literally, as part of our neurobiology. We need security, appreciation, inclusion, mentoring, modeling, and a helping hand throughout life. This Father’s Day, we honor the countless ancestors who survived so we could exist today, and we hold our most precious dreams sacred for those coming after us. In our brief time here, we are grateful for those whose presence, generosity, and wisdom make our lives rich.
But despite the greatness all around us, our culture is in flux, and our ties are often tenuous. Some say we’re in an epidemic of loneliness. Others say that the very fabric of society is unraveling. The answers can’t be imposed from the outside, they arise from having our needs met and becoming the sources of empathy, creativity, resourcefulness, and wisdom that in turn support our culture individually and collectively.
The people who ended up happiest were the ones who really leaned into good relationships with family, friends, and community. Close relationships were better predictors of long and pleasant lives than money, IQ, or fame.”

Perhaps it’s time to recognize this human need that we all share, and give ourselves — and those we love — this most precious gift.
What began as a personal quest for answers to the devastating ubiquity of failed estate plans has led me to insights and tools that can yield priceless benefits for individuals and families at all stages of life. The answers are simple and easily accessible to everyone, but first we need to become aware of the problem — and of potential solutions.
If you care about your family’s well-being and resilience, it’s not an overstatement to say that this short workshop video has the potential to (quietly) rock your world and benefit your family now and for generations to come.
